Dasril Iteza - Optimasi SEO pada Bing. Chitika mengatakan sebuah analisis bahwa sepertiga dari sumber traffic yang mengarah ke blog atau situs kita berasal dari search engine seperti Google, Yahoo serta Bing! Dan ini berimbas pula bagi situs atau blog yang berafiliasi dengan Program PPC seperti Google AdSense dan lain sebagainya.
Terkait dengan hal diatas, sayang sekali kiranya kalau tidak memanfaatkan Yahoo dan Bing sebagai sumber traffic selain Google. Dengan tidak adanya sumber traffic dari Bing dan Yahoo ini jelas “merugikan” kita yang memasang berbagai program afiliasi pada situs atau blog kita, karena peluang klik atau transaksi dari sumber traffic dari Bing dan Yahoo tidak ada!
Pertanyaannya adalah, apa yang harus kita lakukan untuk Optimasi SEO pada Bing? Atau bagaimana cara Optimasi SEO pada Bing? Nah, mungkin beberapa tips dibawah ini bisa dimanfaatkan untuk memeriksa kemampuan mesin pencari Bing:
1). Dalam file robots.txt kita, pastikan spider Bing diperbolehkan untuk melihat situs atau blog kita.
2). Bandingkan berapa banyak halaman situs atau blog kita yang diindeks di Bing dan Google, dengan keyword site: namablogkita.com atau site:namasituskita.com di setiap mesin pencari.
3). Gunakan fasilitas yang diberikan Bing. Jika kalian belum menggunakan webmaster tool Bing, maka sudah saatnya anda harus menggunakannya. http://www.bing.com/toolbox/webmasters/.
4). Jika kita menggunakan Google AdWords untuk menghasilkan traffic, perlu juga kita pikirkan menggunakan Microsoft AdCenter.
Intinya adalah bahwa kita harus “membuka” situs atau blog kalian untuk Bing. Katakanlah Google search engine tetap dominan, tetapi kita juga perlu memulai memperhatikan Bing, sekarang!
